ESCAPE FROM THE PARMED is a 2D classic-style game that throws you into a dangerous world filled with deadly traps and relentless monsters chasing you at every step. It’s built with the spirit of retro games but spiced up with modern touches to keep the experience both thrilling and challenging. You’ll need fast reflexes, sharp focus, and patience to survive the traps and escape the monsters that won’t give you a break. Each stage gets tougher than the last, and a single wrong move could send you back to the start. The game is developed by Sonic, Best ropot, Pro, and Roto, who combined the charm of old-school design with intense modern gameplay.
ESCAPE FROM THE PARMED was created to participate in a game development competition organized by SOP, in collaboration with Manus, with the goal of showcasing and discovering Arab talent in game creation. The idea behind the game was to prove that creativity and passion can shine even with limited resources. The developers wanted to build something that feels nostalgic yet exciting — a throwback to the classic era of 2D games while adding fresh challenges for modern players. It also stands as a statement: Arab creators are capable of delivering unique, challenging, and fun experiences to the global gaming community. This project is not just a competition entry, but also a step toward inspiring more young developers to dive into game design, share their imagination, and push the boundaries of what indie games can be.
